Needs a sound effect for releasing the throttle. If this is procedurally generated, start with a random seed each time instead of the same one. Could use a health system for the rocket and damage based on relative velocity on collision. Could use more content, rescuing astronauts, guns, levels with distinct challenges. It could go a lot of places.
Thanks for your input. A lot of those things are on the to-do list already. I'm on the fence about using a random seed, but I might allow players to generate a seed that would be displayed on the death screen so they can challenge others to run that exact asteroid field. Sounds DEFINITELY need work.
